Pelle Kronestedt was born in Stockholm 1968. Kronestedt received a B.A. from School of Photography at University of Gothenburg in 1992. He has exhibited widely in Sweden and Europe. Kronestedt is recognized for his colorful documentary photography of societal issues, memories and archival issues. Kronestedt´s work has been included in public collections like Centre National de l´audiovisuel, Luxemburg. Kronestedt work has been in at art halls, museums and galleries around Europe like Nederlands Foto Instituut, Centre Culturel Suedois. Kronestedt has received numerous awards like EU Kaleidoscope. Kronestedt is senior lecturer photography at HDK-Valand – Academy of Art and Design and lives and works in Gothenburg and Stockholm.

The key to the photography world in New York – Todd Weinstein. Without you I had never got a chance to come in to the photo district. With such a love, enthusiasm and inspiration to the rainbow of art and applied photography. To hang out with Sid Kaplan, Louis Stettner and Tom Eckerle was ground breaking for me. And then I have not mentioned Union Square Gallery, the hub for so many meetings.
